Meet The Founder

Mazin Orfali is a self-confessed architectural geek and a passionate wellbeing advocate. With over two decades of experience and interest spanning design, real estate, and mental health, Mazin brings a rare combination of technical fluency, original creativity and a developer’s pragmatism, all shaped by decades of hands-on experience in how people actually design, build, live and use space.
A double graduate of the Architectural Association, whose alumni include design icons like Sir Richard Rogers, Dame Zaha Hadid and David Chipperfield, Mazin has always championed the integration of science and design. He has led high-end residential and commercial projects across the globe, constantly balancing conceptual thinking with real-world constraints.
His early career included managing a residential lettings portfolio for over 20 years before collaborating with some of the world’s most respected property developers and design studios, including Finchatton, UN Studio and Michaelis Boyd. Across these roles, Mazin has contributed to the design of hospital masterplans, maternity wards, theatres, museums, office towers, shopping malls, multi-residential developments, luxury homes and highly detailed workplace interiors.

In 2023, Mazin launched Neurohome with a singular mission to create environments that enhance mental and physical wellbeing through design. His work today brings together neuroscience, architecture and interior design to transform the way we live and feel in space.

A Founder's Story
What defines true wealth?

Is it 125 Bitcoin or £10,000,000 in your account? A rare Ferrari 250 GTO displayed like art in your living room? Or perhaps a collection of Richard Mille timepieces or Chanel handbags? While these symbolize wealth for many, a profound shift is occurring in our collective consciousness: time is becoming recognized as our ultimate currency. And to fully experience time, we need healthy bodies and minds. As the timeless wisdom suggests, "health is wealth."

Yet here's what deeply concerns me - while we spend 17 minutes on average each morning choosing our outfit and carefully consider every morsel we eat, we've become oddly complacent about the spaces we inhabit. We accept cookie-cutter homes and offices, believing a few family photographs make them personal, while ignoring how profoundly our surroundings impact our overall wellbeing.
